The video card game “Inju Genma” (淫獣幻夢) for the PC98 was the initial inspiration for this comic. After each round it displayed pictures of cute girls having sex with mighty space monsters.

Among other things I did while looking at the pictures I also began to wonder if a real girl could really find joy in having wild sex with a giant monster being all tentacles and claws? In a dark cave on some distant planet? Warm soft skin on a cold black indestructible exoskeleton?

There was a way to answer that: Imagine it is you in place of the girls. To my surprise this worked so well that I began to regret I wasn't a girl. If the monster is a real devoted friend, strong, sensible and intelligent, where's the problem? With a friend like that, there won't be problems again. Never.

I began to think about how the girls did end up with the beasts and this is how the plot for “The Beauties And The Beasts” came into being. It had a noticeable darker atmosphere than the actual comic and maybe I'm going to remake it someday.
